lab hours/accession numbers

Spent 40 minutes linking all of the blogs on my blog list (I had some trouble with it).  My accession numbers are [74-2-1], [74-2-2], [74-2-32], and [74-2-79].  I have misplaced my paper slips but I know that either [74-2-1] or [74-2-2] has an (a) and (b) component, it is the pair of knotted clubs pictured on my blog.

    The fan pictured below was mistagged by someone back in the 70s and that's why the description of it as a "parasol" didn't quite fit. But we found the parasol (it is really neat--green and yellow silk, beautiful wooden folding handle). Both were mislabeled via tag but the numbers inked on them are correct. We can switch them out (photos) next week. It *is* very fragile (old silk after all) but a truly fascinating design.

    I am in the process of double checking everyone's accession numbers. Are you certain you have 74-2-2 and not 74-2-26? The knotted clubs are 74-2-26a and b.

    Also, I don't think your 74-2-32 is correct. That is a glass trade bead, which I think David has. I believe you meant to say that you have 74-2-38, which is the sun shade (which was previously labeled as a parasol, but that is a different object--confusing I know!).

    So, to sum up and clarify: I have you with 74-2-1 (spear point on bamboo shaft); 74-2-26a/b (knotted clubs); 74-2-38 (sun shade); 74-2-79 (fiber sack). Does that sounds correct to you?

    That sounds right! Sorry for all of the confusion. So do I have the right artifact? Or do I need to stop by on Thursday to photograph the right artifact?

    I have 74-2-2 (The Snow Shoes), but I also have pictures of both the parasol and the green and tan folding fan. What was the final decision for who has what and the correct numbers? Thanks!

    I *think* Mallory has the sun shade (74-2-38) and Airielle has the parasol (74-2-27). In all honesty, it doesn't matter to me who has what, just as long as I know some one is researching it! If you two want to switch, that is fine. Just let me know if you do.

    Well I already have pictures of the sun shade and I think my original number was [74-2-38] so if t's alright with Airielle I'll keep the sunshade and she can keep the parasol?
